If you have fewer than 50 hours in a retractable gear airplane or fewer than 5 hours in the same make and model, you would need a 10-hour checkout including 15 takeoffs and landings.
If you have more than 50 hours in a retractable gear airplane and more than 5 hours in the same make and model, you would need a 1-hour checkout.
New members must have at least 100 hrs of PIC time. The checkout time does count towards this time, so technically you can join at 90 hours if you need the 10 hours checkout.
