Members are required to hold a Private Pilot Certificate (or higher), have a minimum of 100 hours of PIC time, and successfully demonstrate to an authorized DPC instructor the proficiency necessary to operate club aircraft.
If you have fewer than 50 hours in a single-engine retractable gear airplane or fewer than 5 hours in the same make and model, you will need a 10-hour checkout with an authorized DPC instructor, including 15 takeoffs and landings. The checkout time does count towards the minimum time requirement, so technically you can join at 90 PIC hours if you need the 10-hour checkout.
If you have more than 50 hours in a single-engine retractable gear airplane and more than 5 hours in the same make and model, you would only need a 1-hour checkout with an authorized DPC instructor.
You also need a high-performance and complex training endorsement, which will be done as part of the checkout process.
